"Southwest Memories",  16"x20",  Oil on canvas.  $500.   The carving is Kokopelli, God of Rain, fertility and spirit of music,  purchased from a native boy on the rim of Canyon de Chilly, Arizona.    The turquoise necklace came from a native girl there.    The chunk of rock is a piece of the canyon given to me by a dear friend.    The scorpion was a late brother-in-laws.    Lots of memories in this little still life.         "Excitation!!",   26" x 66",   Original Oil on Panel.    Framed, $1200.    This was exciting to watch as this fisherwoman caught a trout in one of the beautiful streams we have here in Missouri.      I lucked out and was in just the right position to get this view with the Sun coming from behind.       I'm happy to say this  was accepted  into "The Big Show", at Skyport Gallery, Springfield-Branson National Airport, Springfield, MO.      It will be on display at the Airport May 22, thru August 13th, 2012 and will be available for purchase.

Welcome to my website.  I hope you enjoy a little peek of my life through my drawings and paintings.   It was my mother who inspired me at a very young age with her tiny, miniature, landscape paintings.  So armed with a "Learn to Draw" booklet and her encouragement, I practiced drawing all through my school days.     I'm still learning today and enjoying the journey.
